Peel Minus The Pain

For them to work properly, facial peels have to produce intense burning and contain harsh acids, right? Endure only five minutes of agony for a fresh, younger looking complexion. Well, this isn’t always the case. I tried Murad’s Intensive-C Radiance Peel and discovered the benefits of a peel without the pain.

This gentle skin stripper claims to smooth and perfect skin to enhance luminosity and reduce hyperpigmentation to restore clarity to skin. It contains Glycolic Acid, which exfoliates skin, Vitamin C & Indian Fig, which protect the skin against free radicals, and Myrtle Extract, which boosts collagen production.

I massaged the creamy lotion on my face and neck and within a few minutes it began to tingle slightly – in a good way! It also had a wonderful citrus-orange smell. I could feel these good for your skin ingredients go to work on my lacklustre skin.

After ten minutes I rinsed off the peel and patted my face dry. What I noticed in the mirror was brighter, more “alive” skin. My skin also felt remarkedly softer.

I was bummed because the instructions say to use 1 or 2 times weekly – I anxiously anticipated the next time I could use it. I love this peel!

Do you use facial peels? What’s your favorite?
