Sun can dry out and fade hair, so be sure to wear a hat or spray strands with a protective product.
Workout With Your Kids
You’ve made the commitment to start eating healthy and to work out five to six times a week. You have been sticking to your goals and are thrilled how you are overcoming the temptation of chocolate and other sweets. Your only problem is you are getting bored with your workout routines. What should you do?
I like to mix up my workout routines or I will get bored and lose all of my motivation to stick with it. I do Pilates one day, cardio another, strength training the next, and even a little yoga. There is nothing wrong with throwing a curve ball in your exercise routine. It will keep you alive and motivated and you will start looking forward to the next day.
I actually mix up a few routines every day. Being a mom and trying to work out with two little ones can be fun, but also difficult. They like to get involved by stretching and doing some moves, but in the end I’m trying to do 50 squats and they are laying underneath my legs staring up at me. Not sure about anyone else, but it can be hard to continue working out while your little one is giggling like a hyena. Personally, I cannot keep a straight face.
So try it out! If you can only get in twenty minutes in the morning, then add ten or twenty minutes in another part of your day. You will continue to feel great, and will see your endurance and your strength as well as your motivation increasing. If you are a parent you want to be able to keep up with your children. Stay healthy the easy way and start by standing on your two feet. Only you can achieve your goals, so get started today!
