Baked Eyeshadow

Gregorie Guillaume is the go-to beauty expert for today’s stylish woman. Below she offers tips for women in their 30’s applying eye shadow.

According to Gregorie, baked eyeshadows are a somewhat new “thing” in makeup because they are highly-pigmented. For summer, she favors Milani Cosmetics Runway Eyeshadows –  specifically, #11 Beach Sand because they [all] have a pearlescent component that’s on-trend, yet reads sophisticated and not too heavy for a hot Summer evening out. These shades can be worn wet or dry.

How To For an Evening Eye Look:

Step 1: Start by applying an eye shadow primer for staying power.

Step 2: Either use the included eye shadow applicator or use your own to apply any of the 11 subtle shades to the entire eyelid area, beginning from the inner corner, working outward creating a bright, shimmering eye.

Step 3: Accentuate this look by lining the top lash with a dark brown or black liquid eyeliner – go thicker for a bolder look.

Step 4: Complete this look by applying a lengthening mascara to really make your eyes pop.
