DIY Beer Facial

DIY Beer Facial

In celebration of North Carolina Beer Month, Carolyn Doe, Spa Director at The Umstead Hotel and Spa (Cary, N.C.) shares this simple DIY facial recipe that pairs perfectly with spring, the warm weather and a favorite local brew!

(Those still discovering North Carolina-made beer can peruse The Umstead’s Bar and Lounge menu for inspiration!) The yeast in beer works to balance the pH of the skin and targets the bacteria that cause breakouts. Carolyn recommends selecting a favorite North Carolina Beer of choice for this simple facial.
